A little about us

John came to the Port St. Joe area in March of 2022 during a deployment to Tyndall AFB with the Ohio Army National Guard. He and his wife Sarah fell in love with the amazing community and decided to make the move down south permanent after the deployment was over.  

John retired in 2023 from his 27-year career serving in both the Marine Corps and the National Guard. In addition to his military career, John and Sarah have always had a passion for renovating their homes. Most recently, they added an addition to their Ohio home, while also demoing and remodeling the basement. John’s experience doesn’t stop there; he also contracted with an Ohio painter for several jobs over the past five years. He enjoyed those jobs and decided to make it his career in retirement. John is hard working, always on time, and always on task! He prides himself on his work and militant attention to detail.
